Umapa: Ukrainian Community Map app for iPhone and iPad

Arriving from Ukraine and need to quickly locate important institutions and services, material or other help, as well as kindergartens and schools for your children? In Umapa, the map for the Ukrainian community, you will find all the necessary places and needed information to settle in your new home. The first version covers the territory of the Czech Republic. However, we are working on expansion to other countries to help as many people as possible wherever they are.

Offices, kindergartens and schools accepting Ukrainian children, counseling and psychological assistance, Ukrainian-speaking doctors and many other places and services. The app will soon allow you to add new locations, comment on the existing ones and share your personal experience with others who need help.

The map will also offer support and make sure you are not alone in this situation. We will be adding places where other Ukrainians fleeing the war meet. Or you can easily organize such meetings yourself and become a co-creator in the new era of the Ukrainian community abroad.

We are building the map to make it as easy to use as possible. Each location has an icon that clearly shows its purpose. The information is easy to filter, so you will always find what you are really looking for. The app will be further developed based on the feedback of our users. Do not hesitate to get involved and reach out to us with any suggestions about improving the app.

This map was created by joining forces of expert volunteers from the Česko.Digital community and start-up Mapotic.​​ This is not a commercial project but a spontaneous initiative to help you get to know your new (temporary) home in a foreign country.
